When all was said and done, eleven new Tollers joined us on October 18. The first five in a row were boys, and finally some girls came along. Final count is seven boys, and four girls. Below is a picture of Cricket with the smaller pups. We try to let them have a chance to eat first. And here is a picture of all eleven. Some are stacked on top of others. If you know where to look you can see them all. They range from dark to light. Most have four white feet, and many have white on the chest. Some have white stars or stripes, but if small, they tend to disappear with age. The noses are starting to turn black at three days of age. The ability to sleep in the midst of chaos is a talent that belongs only to the very young. |
